Our team is comprised of fully qualified and highly experienced tradespeople who pay a great attention to detail throughout the defit process. Being environmentally aware, we will keep the site squeaky-clean and dust free, while the demolition materials will be discarded or grouped accordingly for waste, recycling, or repurposing.
We have an extensive experience working on thousands of demolition projects, from removal of a single wall to a 1800m2 gym. We have a very successful methodology of keeping a demolition site perfectly organised and running efficiently.

Affordable Defits believes in corporate social responsibility, as it is beneficial for the environment, but also a great way of reducing office-related costs. We are proud members of the Green Council of Australia, who promotes sustainability in the building and construction industries. That's why during a demolition job, we always endeavour to minimise the amount of waste going into landfill, and we do this very successfully in a number of ways:
- Recycling all metal stud, aluminum skirting, and other metal-related waste materials
- Repurposing, or recycling of all joinery and furniture that is no longer required
- Reusing floor coverings depending upon the condition and type
- Glazing can be reused

Safety
Occupational Health & Safety is a serious concern when undertaking a demolition project. Our highly skilled defit team of experts, will make a thorough assessment on site and make the necessary preparations to minimise any hazards and risks using appropriate use of hoarding, bollards, PPE and machines and tools.
Regular site inspections are conducted by our experienced site supervisors and inductions and checklists are completed. Our works are always done to code and to Australian Standards. We employ elaborate safety measures to minimise even the most high-risk jobs, protecting the health of the workers involved, as well as the general public.
